Our Journey: Pursuing Beauty and Hospitality for 100 Years
We, Takami Bridal, were founded in 1923 in Kyoto, the heart of Japanese culture and beauty. Starting as a kimono sales business, we continuously evolved as a bridge between "kimono" and "people." In 1952, we began manufacturing and wholesaling bridal kimonos. By 1985, we expanded our bridal costume business to include wedding dresses.
For the following half-century, we diversified our services to enhance our customers' special days, launching a church wedding business in 1994 and a restaurant business in 2003. In 2012, we expanded globally, opening The Terrace By The Sea wedding venue and 53 By The Sea restaurant on Oahu, Hawaii.
Over the past 100 years, we've transformed from connecting "kimono and people" to fostering "connections between people," strengthening bonds.
